Northgate Information Solutions takes account of published recommendations by W3C, as appropriate. Northgate's Land and Property team takes web content accessibility seriously and has consequently implemented a programme of work to train staff and assess the accessibility of all of our public facing web products.
Wherever technically possible, Northgate is working towards all public facing web products in the Land and Property product portfolio conforming to W3C/WAI's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 Priority 1 and 2 checkpoints (AA) and the following Priority 3 checkpoints: 4.2, 4.3, 5.5, 13.5, 13.6, 13.8, 13.10 and 14.3.
Where a public facing web product is altered to reflect the look and feel of a customer's website, Priority checkpoints relating to menus, navigation and consistent presentation are outside of Northgate's control. Therefore it is a customer's responsibility, to ensure these areas satisfy the relevant checkpoints.
